Windows Manager

Job Summary:

Manage team resources by utilizing a wide range of skills such as defining and setting project priorities, planning, and documenting work by individuals and teams, setting, and approving timelines, and preparing and implementing plans.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

•Meet with decision makers, system owners, and end users to define business requirements and goals, and identify and resolve business issues, and document accordingly

•Act as a technical leader and point of escalation by providing direction to team members, best practices, and methodologies, and resolve escalated issues from the IT Service Desk and other System Administrators.

•Maintain SOX and PCI requirements, internal IT policies, standards, and directives

•Provide recommendations to senior management for areas of opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce total cost of ownership of the Windows environment

•Manage and participate in various technical and systems related projects

•Coordinate with development/support teams to orchestrate the deployment of software updates and windows patches.

•Develop standard solutions for identity and access management, failover clustering, high-availability, disaster recovery, file services, and other OS related solutions.

Required Skills:

•15+ years’ experience demonstrating progressively more responsibility and technical expertise

•10+ years as a technical administrator or SME

•5+ years in a supervisory\managerial role with direct reports

•Project Management, Service Now, Microsoft Certified, Comp Sci or Business Admin\Mgmt education is a plus
