Ingles Markets began in 1963 as a single supermarket and has since grown into a regional grocery store chain with just under 200 retail locations operating in 6 southeastern states, a 1.6-million-square foot distribution center, two truck fleets, and a milk processing plant. Ingles Markets’ headquarters and distribution center are located just 15 minutes outside of Asheville, NC in the town of Black Mountain.
The Team
We are lean team that services 27,000 employees across 6 states. We work hard as a collective team to ensure everything is accomplished, even if it is not in our job description. The Position
The Office Administrator will support in functional areas of the Real Estate Maintenance Department, ensuring work orders are properly dispatched to the correct service provider. They will also process invoices to the correct accounting codes, create reports to analyze department spending and assist in other areas to ensure the overall team operates as efficiently as possible.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be motivated and able to take initiative, is able to work with minimal supervision effectively and efficiently, and has strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate should also have a minimum of high school diploma. Strong computer skills are necessary, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and general knowledge of office equipment.
