AP- Expense Clerk


Job consists of making sure the vendors are paid in a timely manner and that we are not charged for deliveries not received and for deliveries we receive making sure prices are reasonable.


The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Edit vendor statements.
  • Enter data into payables system.
  • Provide inventory clerk with purchase data.
  • Match backup for vendor clerks.
  • Distribute vendor checks to proper departments.
  • Box up completed tasks for storage.
  • Enter store transfer data into computer.
  • Prepare data for quarterly and fiscal year end accrual.
  • Open and sort mail once a week.
  • Do outgoing store mail for merchandisers semi-annually.
  • Observe all company rules and policies.
  • Adhere to all local, state and federal health and civil code regulations.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as directed.
  • Help do store supplies.
