SAP Senior Finance Analyst

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Provide technical leadership and serve as SME for the SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, etc.)

•  Work with the business to determine requirements and translate them into SAP FI configurations or functional specifications for interfaces and reports

•  Understand processes and provide recommendations for improvement and/or adoption of standard SAP Best practices

• Document processes, business requirements, training materials, functional designs/specifications and test scenarios

• Perform functional unit testing, integration testing and assist the business in testing and validation of FI changes

• Work with the SAP Security team in defining and testing FI roles and authorizations

• Provide input to on-going SAP projects as needed

• Participate in on-call rotation

• Work support tickets from SAP end users or other IT teams

• Coordinate with other IT teams and System Integrators as needed

• Work remotely but as the need arises, onsite work may be required

• Additional tasks, as assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

• Minimum 1 full lifecycle experience with S/4 HANA Finance

• Minimum 8 years' experience working with the SAP FI module

• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and knowledge of S/4 HANA finance, new bank account management, new asset accounting, Treasury, etc.

• Strong facilitation and communication skills to work effectively with the business, management and other IT teams

• Extensive experience in writing documentation, user requirements, functional specifications, etc.

• Strong experience in scoping, developing designs, testing and troubleshooting

• Knowledgeable and conversant in other SAP modules (e.g. Real estate, Procurement)
